Seasons
Seasons can be hard. Not the seasons pertaining to the weather, but the seasons of life. Some seasons just seem like they will never end. Some seasons feel like they’re on repeat. Some seasons have a dragged out finish. And some just totally amaze you. I know that when a season is getting close to the end, it can feel like you just can’t take anymore. This may be too much. When is it going to end? Some seasons we may feel like God forgot about us. Like, where is my break through God? Change is not easy. Change can be gut wrenching and stressful. Scarey a lot of the time. But God never had anyone do great things by staying still. Staying still makes you stagnant. You begin to have lukewarm faith. Your light gets dim. It’s not that you no longer believe, but you’ve closed yourself to what’s ahead. Fear and doubt over take the truth that God has spoken to you. He will never leave us (Deut. 31:6). God gives us gifts so that we may use them to guide the lost back to Him. We are not asked to go alone, He will be with us.
The world is a very judgemental place. It’s full of every kind of pain. God has us face the world because His children are lost. The enemy wants to take as many with him as he can. But God has other plans. He has over come the world, and satan knows where he is going to end up. We need to stop looking at each other by what our differences are, and look at each other as though we are all God’s children. We are all going through some kind of a season. We are all in some kind of pain. The Love of God can break through any wall. He doesn’t want any child left behind, and He will go to the end of the earth to save each one of us.
Seasons can wear us out sometimes, but seasons dont last forever. Just remember that being kind to someone when there’s a storm in your life could bring out the Son in their life.
God loves you, you can make it no matter what season you’re in. Hang on, He’s not done yet.
