What is God saying to you?

So, I have been so ‘busy’ lately, that I have not put time into this. It’s kind of funny how we get distracted from the things God wants us to be doing. Most of the time what He’s asking of us is not difficult and we just find a way to push it off, or we allow satan to get in the way of us accomplishing it. Why should we continue our walk? Because OUR walk with God not only impacts us but can drastically impact those around us.

So…What is God saying to you? We are all at a moment that feels like the world has stopped. At least our worlds. With the virus that has literally put some people in their homes for weeks, we have such a great opportunity to hear God. I know with me, I allow the noise of the world shut God’s voice out sometimes. I know I would end up choosing to do that. Kids, work, cleaning, ect. all take my attention away from the One who has blessed me with it all. Time and time again, God blesses us and for a while we are grateful but then the world makes itself known. Anxiety, stress, loneliness, anger, discouragement, distraction, etc. Distractions take away our time with God. Distractions get in between us being grateful. Distractions distance from having a relationship with God. He is always there and He is always waiting on us. It is not the other way around.

During this time of being away from the world, keep asking yourself: ‘What is God saying to me?” He will always have something to say to you. He wants to hear you. You are NEVER talking to him too much. We can never give Him enough attention. And He understands that because we live in the world where our attention will be taken by our surroundings. Fight. Fight for a strong relationship with Him. Nothing in this world can give you what God can. I’m saying this from experience. You want to put God first, because everything else will fall into place. He will make sure of it.

“But first and most importantly seek His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you also.” Matthew 6:33

“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” 2 Thessalonians 3:5

“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Ephesians 6:11
