The Grace of Falling
Everyone falls at some point, and sometimes we fall hard. But in all honesty, it is not how you fell or even what caused you to fall. What really matters is how you get back up. God knows we are going to make mistakes. He never expects us not to make any mistakes because we are human. What He sees is that we are learning. We are on a path. We choose whether or not we want Him with us on our journey or if we want to try to go through it on our own.
I can tell you that it is much easier to get back up after you have fallen when God is next to you reaching His Hand out. No judgement. No condemnation. Just Love, and Forgiveness. Just Grace to get back up and give it another shot.
We don’t have to go through life alone always trying to figure things out. God has a path for us and all we need to do is put one foot in front of the other with our complete faith that God paved the way and He’s watching our back. He’s got our best interest in mind. Plans for a joy filled and wonderful life. Enjoying the journey is something we get to choose to do. And what a beautiful journey it can be if you believe in His plan for you.
Remember, when you find yourself face down and feeling defeated, you can always look up and the Son will always be there.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
